(referred to as “we”, “us” or “5Training” collects information from you via the website or in any manner expressly described in the privacy statement and how this information is then used.  When you provide us with your personal data you consent to us processing all such personal data as set out in the privacy statement. Your personal data is protected by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). You can find the details for the UK Information  Commissioner at  https://ico.org.uk/.  As a data controller, we are required to take appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information including making a regular backup of our system and data.  We have security measures in place to make sure any personal information we collect is secure.  Even though we take appropriate technical steps to protect your security, you should remember that data transmission over the internet cannot always be guaranteed as 100% secure so you use the website at your own risk.

Personal Information and How we collect it

 •    We collect various personal information regarding you or your device when you visit 5Training website. This includes the following:

o  Analytics – 5Training website collects personal data to power our site analytics, including:  Information about your browser, network, and device; Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website; and Your IP address.  This information may also include details about your use of this website, including:  clicks; internal links; pages visited; scrolling; searches; and timestamps.  We share this information with Squarespace, our website analytics provider to learn about site traffic and activity.

o  Visitor Data – When you request or download course agenda details, we collect personal information from you such as name; company; job title; contact number; email address; and marketing preferences.  We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us.  Squarespace analyses the data in a de-personalized form. 

o  When you book a course on the website, you will be asked for details of a credit or debit card; an email address, and a telephone number.  We obtain limited information about your payment card from our payment processor, such as the last four digits, the country of issuance and the expiration date.  Currently, our payment processor is Stripe.  Stripe uses and processes your complete payment information in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy.

o  We use cookies and other technologies to keep track of how you interact with our website and to target advertising.  For further information about this please see our Cookies Policy.

 •   We may also collect your personal information through other websites such as, but not limited to, LinkedIn, LinkedIn X-ray, and Prospects.

 •   You may also provide us with further personal data through email correspondence.  When you register for a course, you must tell us: your full name; email address; telephone and/or mobile number; job title; and company

 •   We may also provide personal details through online questionnaires and survey forms that we may send to you.

Purposes and Disclosures

We use your personal information to deal with your queries, to provide you with the information and services you request, customer feedback, and for general statistics and research.  Depending on the preferences indicated by you:

•   we may use your personal data to contact you about relevant courses and offers.

•   5Training may disclose your personal data to your course trainer, to ensure relevance of course discussions and smooth running of courses.

In general, if you contact us, we may keep a record of your query or complaint for a reasonable time in case you contact us again.

•    Provision of services - Deliver and personalize our services, provide course materials, carry out administration, process payments, and respond to your queries.

•    We share personal information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider.  Squarespace needs the data to run the website, and to protect and improve its platform and services.

•    We transmit your personal information via an encrypted connection to our payment processor.

•    We may share personal information with course trainers to help in the course delivery

Keeping your personal data

 We keep personal data :

•   for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for;

•   as required by law; or

•   to enforce or defend legal claims.
