Understand the core concepts of valuation. Study a range of different valuation methodologies and decide when and how to use each approach
Learn how to build robust license valuation models. Understand how to create a valuation model for a complex pharma/biotech license taking into account a wide range of risks, and learn best-practice valuation techniques to ensure the reliability of outputs
Examine the core concepts of negotiation and how to apply each in practice to conclude win:win deals, whilst extracting the maximum for yourself
Study negotiation tools and tactics and understand your own preferred behavioural style. Learn how to apply these approaches to your advantage to ensure a successful outcome
Put theory into practice. Value a pharmaceutical license for a pharma/biotech product and then negotiate a Terms Sheet with the other party to create a win:win deal

Dr. John Buckle is a highly experienced pharmaceutical consultant. He specialises in international development, licensing and acquisitions and supports governments, biotechs, specialty pharma and major multinationals with the implementation of their international growth strategies.
John is a pharmaceutical business developer and international deal-doer with extensive Board-level experience, an impressive deal sheet and a track record of growing businesses internationally.
Dr. Buckle maintains his operational skills by regularly working internationally in executive functions as an interim manager, where he regularly identifies, values and negotiates deals on behalf of clients.
